The role
NightJarr is seeking a marketing analytics (GA4) and data specialist to join our team, who will be responsible for analysing data from digital marketing campaigns and client websites, providing insights to improve performance, and helping our clients achieve measurable growth. They should have a strong background in data analysis, statistics, tracking implementation, tag management and data visualisation. They should also have experience in managing large datasets and creating insightful reports.
As a contractor at NightJarr, you will have the flexibility to manage other commitments while being part of a dedicated and supportive team.
Key responsibilities:
- Analyse performance marketing data across multiple channels (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, TikTok etc.)
- Create measurement frameworks for clients, and develop comprehensive custom dashboards and reports to track campaign performance and KPIs (using Google Looker Studio).
- Setup BigQuery databases and connect with GA4 etc.
- Identify trends, insights, and opportunities to improve campaign effectiveness and ROI.
- Work closely with the media buying team to provide actionable insights.
- Monitor and assess the effectiveness of various targeting strategies, creatives, and messaging.
- Set up and track goals, events, and conversions using GTM, GA4 and Firebase (including data layers and using Javascript), and other tools.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop data-driven strategies and optimize marketing efforts.
- Conduct ad-hoc deep data analysis to identify trends, patterns and insights.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years experience in performance marketing, analytics or a similar role.
- Google Analytics certification.
- Strong proficiency in Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and other analytics tools.
- Experience in working with large data sets, creating reports, and deriving insights.
- Advanced skills in Excel or Google Sheets; familiarity with data visualisation tools (e.g., Data Studio, Tableau) is a plus
- Solid understanding of digital marketing channels, including paid search, display, and social media.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
