The role

NightJarr is seeking an SEO Specialist to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on delivering data-driven SEO strategies, optimising organic search performance, and staying ahead of ever-evolving search engine algorithms. 

As a contractor at NightJarr, you will have the flexibility to manage other commitments while being part of a dedicated and supportive team.‍

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive keyword research and create strategic SEO roadmaps.
• Optimise website architecture, content, and on-page elements for improved search engine ranking and visibility.
• Perform ongoing SEO audits and implement necessary changes to improve site performance.
• Develop and execute link-building strategies to enhance domain authority.
• Monitor, analyse, and report on SEO performance, providing actionable insights.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and best practices.
• Collaborate with the content and development teams to ensure SEO best practices are followed.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in SEO with a proven track record of success.
• Strong knowledge of SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Search Console, etc.).
• Proficiency in Google Analytics and other reporting tools.
• Experience with technical SEO and website performance optimisation.
• Solid understanding of content strategy, keyword research, and link-building.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and project management skills.
• Ability to work independently without constant oversight. as well as collaboratively as part of a team.
