The role

NightJarr is seeking a highly skilled digital media buyer to join our team.  This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about digital marketing, and has a proven track record of delivering successful media buying campaigns. The digital media buyer will be responsible for planning, executing, and optimising digital advertising campaigns across various online platforms to drive engagement, traffic, and conversions.

As a contractor at NightJarr, you will have the flexibility to manage other commitments while being part of a dedicated and supportive team.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop, execute and optimise digital media buying strategies to achieve campaign objectives and KPIs.
  • Analyse campaign performance data and provide actionable insights to optimise campaign performance and improve ROI.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify target audiences and advertising opportunities.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create media plans and budgets aligned with campaign goals.
  • Execute digital advertising campaigns across multiple platforms, such as Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.
  • Conduct A/B testing to refine and enhance campaign effectiveness.
  • Provide regular reports and insights on campaign performance, optimizations, and recommendations for future campaigns.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in digital advertising and media buying.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience as a digital media buyer or a similar role.
  • University degree an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of digital advertising platforms and ad networks, and expertise in managing campaigns across multiple digital platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision making.
  • Excellent analytical and data interpretation skills to optimise campaigns effectively.
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication and other interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Understanding of SEO, SEM, and other digital marketing strategies is a plus.

Preferred skills:

  • Google Ads Certification.
  • Google Analytics and/or META Ads Certification and/or proficiency in other digital marketing tools and platforms (desirable).
  • Experience with programmatic advertising and knowledge of RTB (Real-Time Bidding) platforms.
